The Hemp seed is a typical oriental vegetable food (ex India) and from Russia. It has always been considered a “poor” product, it has recently been revaluated because of its nutritional values which are considered to be of the same standard as true alimentation integrators.
The seeds once peeled are rich in quality protein and contain all 8 essential amino acids in a correct proportion indispensable for human consumption. The Hemp seeds and the flour from which it derives contain in fact 30,60% of highly nutritional protein value.
Hemp oil found in Hemp seeds is about 30% , this amounts to about 75% of acid saturated fats such as alpha-Linolenic acid and linolenic in a proportion of 3-1 of (omega-6 linoleic acid and omega-3 linolenic acid) which contributes to a healthy heart condition with 2% to 4% of gamma linolenic that helps to maintain the hormone system and the fat exchange together with the health of the immunity system.
The Hemp seeds are rich in natural antioxidants such as vitamin E and Lecithin, “food for the brain” together with calcium, phosphorus and potassium.
Following an analysis conducted by the American Chemical Society there emerged high levels of alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3 fats) present in the  Hemp seeds, they can be considered to implicate favourable nutritional and physiological benefits regarding illnesses like cancer and illness of the coronary arteries.
The same studies indicated that the high levels of gamma-linolenic acid (omega-3 fats) contained in Hemp seeds, bestowed a high pharmaceutical value for chronic degenerative illnesses. According to the authors diseases such as certain kinds of cancer, Alzheimer and heart diseases.
